About
Growing up in a small city in Saskatchewan, Justin discovered his deep passion for dance and performing at the age of 15. After transitioning out of competitive gymnastics and musical theatre he quickly realized that dance and movement was his burning passion. Throughout his training at Fame Dance Studios under Sarah C.R. Makins, he quickly picked up all genres of dance and was determined and inspired to become the best version of himself possible. While competing across Alberta and Saskatchewan, Justin was noticed for his clean lines, flexibility, and strength, which won him countless awards and scholarships, taking him to LA and many other cities in Canada to further his training.
After graduating high school Justin moved to Vancouver, BC, where he trained under Moe Brody in the Intensive Training Program at Harbour Dance Centre. For the next four years Justin worked for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines where he performed in several of the most celebrated shows in the industry, on iconic ships such as Anthem, Quantum, and Ovation of the Seas. Working alongside world renowned directors, choreographers, and dancers, Justin was able to develop his craft as a dancer and primary aerialist. The industry recognizes Justin as a highly skilled and versatile performer, capable of thriving in any hip-hop, contemporary ballet, or broadway jazz production.
While traveling throughout Asia, the Caribbean, Canada, and New England, Justin has had the chance to teach and mentor many new performers, which has given him a rich and unique outlook on life. Choreographers and directors alike find Justin invaluable for his refined performance skills, high level athleticism, and mesmerizing movement quality.
Justin is always staying curious and is creating freely in his spare time. Currently residing in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Justin is continuing his dance and movement exploration as well as exploring many other creative and holistic outlets that bring him joy.
